December 23

The day went by pretty fast. I am still frustrated over the prescription service. How am I to handle my sugar if I have no meds? What good is a plan that doesn't allow you get your meds when you need them? So frustrating.

I ate my healthy cereal and then later picked up some cheeseburgers with fries and onion rings for dinner. Somehow it just didn't matter to me. I know better and I want to eat the right things but sometimes it is just easier to eat the wrong things.

Tomorrow I go grocery shopping again. I will be spending most of my day preparing things for Christmas Dinner. The whole thing about Christmas is depressing to me. If I had the money to really make others happy then I would be happy but we don't. There are so many that are hungry, a family that was burned out of their home just this week, elderly that are lonely and cold, so many that need what we take for granted. I don't like buying gifts for fun when the money could be used to help those that are needy. I think that is why I get so depressed at Christmas. I see all the money being spent in all the stores and then I see a place like the Carriage House where their residences have no money. All of their disability checks and medicaid go to stay at the home. Half of the residence have no family to help them and the other half have family who are too poor to help them. Who is going to make their Christmas a joyous one?

There are many of these cases where people reach out during Christmas and that is great. But what about the rest of the year?

  1. We all know that the Reason for the Season is the Birth of our Saviour, and he would want us to help those that we can and we will be rewarded for that. We can not help everyone . We can be thankful that we have all the things we need and some of the things that maybe we do not need as much as we thought when we got them. I am so proud that we have all of our children and that they seem so happy with their life. Our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and they all are seem to happy with their life also even if we have a different feeling at times. We love them all. So be happy for Christmas and enjoy what you have and can do then you will feel better about yourself. Just Tell everybody you see that you love them ,that is all it takes to make most people Happy and we should do that ALL YEAR LONG AS LONG AS WE LIVE. I LOVE YOU ALL OR YA"LL which ever fits
